Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ari — the Chrome extension and the optional account. By installing or using Ari, you agree to them.

1. The service

Ari is a browser extension that tracks your time and browsing habits locally and, if you choose to sign in, keeps more of your history available inside the extension.

2. Accounts

Creating an account is optional, and is done by signing in with your Google account. You're responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Ari for anything illegal, or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our servers or API beyond normal use of the extension.
• Use the feedback form to submit spam or content unrelated to Ari.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the messages and data you send to Ari. By using the feedback feature, you give us permission to process that content to provide the service and to improve Ari — for example, using feedback submissions to prioritize fixes and features.

5. No warranty

Ari is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ari is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

7. Termination

You can stop using Ari at any time by uninstalling it; to close an account, contact us (see Section 9). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Ari after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
